Greetings! It's a busy world ...

For over 24 years, Tanya and other members of the Blue Teapot School of Chinese Influenced American Painting have gathered annually, near the Chinese New Year, to do paintings of the Chinese zodiac animals. That work is the basis for ...

Tanya's second poetry book, Celestial Animals, is in the works. The poems are loosely organized around the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. Also featured are a baker's dozen of Tanya's zodiac animal paintings. It will soon be available for $15.

Next month, at Spring Open Studio, Tanya is featuring the "Animals of the Zodiac". The "Grounding Cat Buddha" painting on Tanya's home page is already hanging in her studio at Hunters Point Shipyard (HPS). One entire wall of special paintings are reproduced in Celestial Animals.

And this just in - Tanya's Dusk at the Bookstore poem won a third prize at the annual Poets' Dinner award today!
