Full Moon

Three asleep in bed.
The man breathing deep,
The cat snoring,
Her peaceful sounds nearly
Inaudible over the human breaths
Yet sharp as rattling glass
In a distant window.
And the third one languid
Lulled by moonlight,
Listening.
